My sister, Lisa, passed away on July 15, 2017. I still go through phases where I truly believe that she is out of town or at a friend’s house. I definitely can’t use the “D” word and don’t know that I’ll ever be able to. I need a way to express my grief and a way to feel I can still communicate with my sister. A way to be sure my sister, Lisa, lives on. This site will be the closest we will get to laughing, listening to music, sharing quotes, watching movies and just creating more memories as sisters.
I promise to be your keeper until we meet again. I love you forever, Lisa.
Lisa Brittany Oliasami, 33, loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin passed away on July 15, 2017, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida surrounded by her family. Lisa left us too soon and with heavy hearts. We will miss her more than words can ever say.
Lisa was born August 3, 1983, in Houston, Texas. Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida became her second home in 1994 where she attended Nease High School and graduated in 2001. She continued her education at the University of North Florida and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Health in 2006. Susan, Lisa’s biggest fan, is heartbroken and will miss her immensely.
Lisa worked with her sister, Susan, at her parents’ UPS Store. Lisa is survived by her parents Ivy and Jeffrey; sister and best friend, Susan; beloved grandmother Katherine Hibbs; Uncles Sam Oliasami, Marc Hibbs, Kevin Hibbs, and Gary Boyle; her Aunt Sheryl; and cousins. Special mention to her cousins Alexis and Samantha who shared so much of their lives with Lisa.
Lisa loved The Footprints Prayer and now for our precious girl there is only one set of footprints because she is being carried by the Lord.
